On October 26th I will turn 27. As with every year when a birthday is approaching, I've been asked what I would like to to receive or what my plans will be for the big day. I've thought long and hard, ultimately deciding that in lieu of gifts I would greatly appreciate if my friends & family made a donation to Pancreatic Cancer Canada and help me reach my $1,000 fundraising goal.

I have a terrible connection with this disease but I am also hopeful that, someday, there will be a cure. I am in awe of the many doctors who work tirelessly to find an end to this disease and the survivors who have made it their mission to bring awareness to pancreatic cancer.
