After many years of donating, I will be participating in the "7 Days" charity bike ride for the third time in 2025. This fundraising event was founded in 2012 to increase awareness about pancreatic cancer and to raise much needed funds to help improve the rate of pancreatic cancer survival. 

This event hit closer to home when I lost my dear brother-in-law Jeff Gray to Pancreatic Cancer in 2022, only three months after his diagnosis.

The diagnosis came out of nowhere and was a shock to the entire family from which we will never recover.

Pancreatic Cancer is more prevalent than commonly thought, and the medical community needs to find a way to test and detect this form of cancer much sooner so that future patients are given more than just a few months to live.
