Welcome to Sharon Chadwick's Personal Page
I am participating in the 7 Days 2025 cycling event for the 11th time riding all 7 days and twice riding one day; a cycling event and fundraiser founded in 2012 to increase awareness about pancreatic cancer and to raise funds to help find a cure for this deadly affliction.
Once again, I will be riding in memory of a longtime friend of my sister, Michael Munz, who lost his battle to pancreatic cancer on 21 June 2018; RIP dear Michael.
Also riding in memory of Etienne du Preez who lost his battle to pancreatic cancer on 15 November 2019. Etienne was a member of Regent Harriers in Durban, South Africa, so an avid walker and did many a walk or hike with my sister over the past 3 years – I also did Regents walks with him every time I visited my family in Durban. RIP dear Etienne.
On Tuesday, 23 May 2023,Annie Hillock lost her battle to pancreatic cancer at only 62 years old; Annie was an avid member of Collingwood Cycling Club as well as very active in the skiing community and many other sports. RIP dear Annie.
Plus riding in memory of Neale Hunt's father & Mike Mandel's mother, Sharon.
I will be joining a group of dedicated cyclists to ride approximately 160 kilometres a day, for 7 days, to raise vital funds and awareness for pancreatic cancer.
Please pledge me and help me reach my fundraising goal! Every pledge takes us one step further in the fight for life.
Ride with us from 26 May - 1 June 2025. Together we can #EndPanCan!
